This is our
farm, where we live.We are a family of 8, me (Annika 36years) my husbond
(Willi 41 years) and our 6 children - Tina (20),
Daniel (15), Jennie (10), Tim(7), Marika (4year)and
William ( 1 ).
We are running an agriculture with about 140 milking
cows and a little breed. We also have about 200 ha of
farming.
It is Willi who stands for the farming, where as I
consentrate on our children and my dogs.
I am trained as a doggroomer and I have worked with dogs
all my life. My aim with my breed is to breed dogs which
are physical and mentaly healthty, and can work. I am going in for
absolutly no agrresion in my dogs.
I´ve chosen Australien Cattledogs because I wanted a
strong dog which in the same time where easy to teach.
It is a very dominant dog and require a trainer who
dares to be Alfa-dog, still you can not be to strict as
the dog will strike and turn the deaf ear to you.
I´ve chosen American Staffordshire Terrier (Amstaff) of other
reasons. I wanted a dog which where friendly to children
and a dog the children could play with. The Amstaff is -
if it is treaded in correct manner - fantastic friendly
to children. They do not have the same threshold of pain
as most other races and they put up with almost anything.
They are in the same time very friendly and kind of
children so I am against to call it a fightingdog.
I like to show my dogs and I do it in the extent it is
possible with all those children, otherwise I work with
the dogs at home.
Dinky is one of
few cattledogs in Denmark which can herd the cows. With
my other dogs I train obedience and agility. We have af
springcourse at home so we can train when ever the
weather allows it.
